Garment Remodelling With Purpose
A redesign begins with a close look at the garment itself. We review the fabric, seams, construction, and condition before discussing what can realistically be changed. This helps set a clear scope and keeps the project aligned with the material on hand.
For dresses, skirts, shirts, and jackets, remodelling can create a new shape or update the fit while keeping useful parts of the original garment. When available, we also match thread or trim to the existing piece, but only after checking what materials can actually be sourced.
Refresh what you already own with careful redesign and upcycling
Tailor's Touch works on alterations and garment remodelling that respect fabric, structure, and the limits of each piece.
Upcycling is especially valuable for vintage clothing and sentimental items. Instead of replacing a piece you care about, we look for ways to reuse the strongest sections and turn the garment into something more wearable, practical, or fresh.
Every project follows a clear process: inquiry, assessment, redesign consultation, quote, approval, work, review, and collection. Additional work is only carried out after approval, and turnaround depends on the garment, the design, and workshop capacity.
